About Perlite
Perlite is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed when obsidian — a type of volcanic rock — is hydrated over geological time. When mined perlite ore is rapidly heated to around 870–1093 °C, the water trapped inside vaporises and causes the material to expand up to twenty times its original volume. The resulting lightweight, white granules are chemically inert, non-combustible, and exhibit outstanding thermal and acoustic insulation properties.
We source perlite ore from certified deposits in Turkey, Greece, and the Caucasus region. Our procurement team conducts independent quality audits of every deposit to verify mineral purity and consistent expansion ratios before supplier approval. This traceability from mine to finished product is part of our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
Products & Applications
Our product range spans thermal and acoustic insulation plasters (GypsoPerlit, ThermoWall), warm floor screeds (ThermoScreed), lightweight concrete aggregates, ecological paints and protective coatings (Perlite Paints range), horticultural growing media, and industrial filtration aids. For a full technical specification sheet please contact our sales team.
Our product range covers thermal and acoustic insulation for interior walls and ceilings (Gypsum Perlite Plaster), thermal- and sound-insulating floor screeds (Warm Floor Screeding), and exterior facade finishing and protection (Universal Facade Plaster Thermowall). These solutions combine insulation, sound reduction, moisture and fire protection, and finishing functions in a single material, helping simplify construction and reduce material and installation requirements. For full technical specifications and application recommendations, please contact our sales team.
Working With Us
Yes. We supply our products in 9 kg bags with a volume of 25 liters. Minimum order quantities and delivery lead times vary depending on the product and destination country. Please fill in our contact form or contact our logistics team for a bespoke quotation.
We do. Our application engineers can attend project sites in the UAE, Russia, and Kazakhstan to supervise first application, train crews, conduct quality checks at key milestones, and issue application certificates to satisfy contractor and owner requirements. This service is included in major supply contracts and available separately for smaller projects.
Sustainability
Perlite is an abundant mineral with minimal environmental impact at extraction. It requires no chemical additives in its base expanded form and is 100% inorganic, meaning it will not decompose, off-gas, or harbour mould. Buildings insulated with our products demonstrate measured reductions in heating and cooling energy consumption of between 30% and 45%, directly reducing lifetime carbon emissions.
